My WYLD Philosophy

The Gyroscope Analogy: Envision for a moment a gyroscope, the center pole standing upright and axis, this center is called the “gymbals”. There are seven rings all spinning simultaneously. In layman terms, the axis of a gyroscope stays upright because as the ground underneath moves and shifts the rings that surround it make minor adjustments that pull the axis back toward a perpendicular center.

If we name these seven rings in the gyroscope analogy, they would be:

  • Psychology
  • Emotion
  • Social
  • Growth
  • Recreation
  • Physical
  • Spiritual

Now replace the center pole with yourself and the rings with all the parts of your life. You probably suddenly have a picture of yourself falling over to one side. Many of us feel that way. In fact, many of us feel that way much of the time.

The good news is that it need not be true. Much like the gyroscope and the physics that keep it upright even when dancing up and down a string, you can learn to make adjustments, some large, many modest that allow you to always pull toward your center when the ground shifts beneath your feet.

First, however, you must find the you that is at the core. Your Essentia. Your essence of being. Your inner megaphone. What I like to call your inner SuperSheRo. The essence of your being that is uniquely you. You purest of values. Your divine gifts or superpowers. In the gyroscope analogy, your axis is your Essentia.

Now all this may make you feel a little dizzy. But no need to worry. I’ll equip you with a set of tools about how to integrate all you have learned about yourself, how your mind works, and how you as individual define “a human being”  for yourself; so that you can manifest the life you want.
